The cattery of Burmese Cats Villasofia

VillaSofia is a cattery, which is officially registered in the international felinological system of WCF in 2010. The cattery is engaged in breeding of Burmese Cats.

VillaSofia – is my realized and sincere love to Burmese.

Our priorities:

• The life quality of our animals.
• Constant development of our knowledge in the improvement of pedigree features and genetic health of our animals.

Why is our idea so valuable? How could it help the others? It’s so beautiful! The communication with Burmese gives us not only aesthetic beauty, but it makes us better emotionally.

In the nearest future a young Burmese female of a modern American type from the cattery of the USA will join our cattery.

How did I find out about Burmese? Probably, it happened to me as to everyone who wants to have a piece of happiness at home. As we grew up, we try to renew the emotional atmosphere when we were children and personally my childhood was rolled in fur, whiskers and tails, so I began to think about it...

Seeing sweet muzzles in the magazines, I made my family think, that soon we could have a kitten. Discussed our responsibility and allocated our duties we started to study cat breeds. As we hadn’t heard about Burmese till that moment and in general we had no preferences, so we just began to surf in the Internet with a hope to take any decision. We had been looking, discussing and choosing for a long time and we could discuss even longer if we hadn’t seen a Burmese. It was a cat we looked for and it became clear after one look in her unfathomable golden eyes. Although it was just the impression we had looking at the photo.

As our wish to have a Burmese concurred with the season of holidays and lack of kitten offers, we were at lost. I just needed to see this miracle and touch it. Evidently, the wish was so strong, that it came true. There was one Burmese family with kittens. And we trembling went to make the acquaintance. 5 Burmese muzzles met us. They resembled more little monkeys, because they simultaneously ran out and welcomed us, curiously examining and sniffing us. And when I sat down on the sofa, the bravest one touched me on my shoulder with her paw, in such a way inviting to communicate. Because when I turned to her she mewed something right to my face. And once touched this fur – and you are fascinated by it. The decision is taken: Burmese and I – this is forever.

Naturally, we returned home with a little Burmese. And from this moment I can share my feelings, how we live with her.

The nicest thing in this breed is that you love Burmese and it adores you. You take care of it and it completely gives itself to you. Its devotion doesn’t know bounds, and namely for these qualities it is called a cat-dog. If you are to leave a cat alone for the whole night, in the morning it can meet you with tears.  This is not a cat, which is always on its own. It’s always near to us. But you can’t call it importunate, because its mood is always harmonious with yours. When she appeared, the atmosphere at home changed. The home is cloaked in her tenderness and warmth. Flattering her fur is the best way to take off weariness. And for a child it’s just sheer joy to return from school and hug a little Burmese without changing clothes. And morning wake-ups are not so hard now, because there is a fluffy companion and for a child the morning is tender and fluffy now.  And of course a helper with whiskers always controls the process of doing homework. And then they can run a little together. Besides, Burmese is always like a kitten, it does not lose its playfulness, its playfulness increases. And when our friends come to us, we can watch a Burmese perspicacity: she meets and welcomes everyone, but shows her sentiment only to those who are really interested in her. As there are many people who are interested in her, she purrs to everyone. Even the ardent opponents of animals at home want to take her in their arms. And leaving our home everyone charmed by her beauty, intellect and tenderness becomes her admirer forever.
