About the project
The Belarusian breeders of Burmese, Bombays and Asians present the project Silk cats.
At the pages of the project we collected the information from the official sites of different felinological world organizations. It’s about the creation history of the breeds, the standards of different felinological systems, the programs of registration and breeding, the rules of participation in exhibitions, the order of getting titles and so on. You can also view a great number of photos of cats and kittens, both professional and amateur.
Our project is called “Silk cats”, because the cats represented here have really wonderful silk hair. And also their unique silk character. The combination of their perfect look and complaisant, friendly character give us unforgettable moments of communication with our cats.
All Belarusian working catteries, breeders and owners and their cats are presented in our project. You can find out when and how the first representatives of Burmese, Bombays and Asians appeared in Belarus, how developed these breeds, how popular they became, what progress they made. We can help you with great pleasure to become the owner of a silk talisman of your house.
In the project we let you meet the Bombay, Asian and Burmese breeds relying on official sources. Having compared and analyzed the information presented here, you will be able to make up your mind on the breeds yourself as well as to learn where the difference between the breed and breed type is and to get used to complicated felinological terms.
The work on the information collection is to be continued. We plan to add the data about European Burmese and to present the Asian breed in detail according to Australian, New-Zealand and South African felinological systems.
We will be very glad to receive all your comments, suggestions, remarks or additions on the point.
Bon voyage into the world of cats!
